About Light is Love Candles
Our Story
Light is Love Candles was founded in2012 by Jayne Hopkins, who began crafting candles for her friends and family. She aimed to create a safe candle using soy wax and non-toxic, phthalate-free fragrances, also ensuring they were decorative and affordable. As word spread, Jayne started receiving orders, leading to the growth of her business. For years, Jayne participated in many Raleigh area markets. She was able to stay at home with her 4 children who are now 13, 11, 9 and 6. A few years Jayne and her family moved to Smithfield and Jayne went back to teaching English as a Second Language in an Elementary School. Jayne still enjoys fulfilling online orders and helping create bulk custom orders as time allows.
